Tell Oxford City Council to Save Luna the White Badger

Tell Oxford City Council to Save Luna the White Badger
Why this petition matters
Luna a rare white badger is under threat from Oxford City Council’s Development Plans.
Oxford City Council’s Housing Development arm OCHL are planning a 30-home estate right next to, and over, an extensive badger set on the ancient fields in Iffley Village, Oxford. The fields are a precious green lung in the City and connect with the wildlife corridor along the Thames.
The white cub, born here last year and named Luna, is the subject of a film by the folk singer Peggy Seeger. You can watch the 5-min film about Luna and the abundant wildlife on the meadows.
The Council should leave Luna and the other wildlife on these ancient meadows here undisturbed and put new housing on brownfield sites instead.
Sign the petition to tell Oxford City Council how much you care about saving Luna and the habitat here in Iffley.
