Own a piece of the future. (iP) within 21days.

The Issue

Intellectual property holds the key to opportunity for millions of Kenyan youth. It offers a chance to build wealth as a nation and radically enhance our quality of life. By ensuring that we own the I.P to the building blocks of various industries, including Fashion, Technology, Pharmaceuticals,  Healthcare, and Agri-processing, we have the potential to lead Africa into the future. Our efforts, powered by sustainable energy and the remarkable talent available in Kenya, can make this dream a reality.

However, the current Intellectual Property registration process in Kenya is onerous and slow, stifling innovation and discouraging entrepreneurial spirit. Currently, individuals and businesses face lengthy delays and bureaucratic hurdles, often waiting 3 to 5 years. This system has since only produced , wait for it.....ONLY 2800 😂 registered pieces of I.P. in the OVER 60 YEARS  of 🇰🇪 as a Republic.

For context in the United States , they have a total of 11.6 million. (i.P)

In China, they have 12 Million.  (i.P)

In South Korea, they have 600k registered pieces of I.P.

In all the above countries it takes LESS THAN 3 MONTHS to get a piece of I.P registered / Issued.

We propose a transformative change: any individual in Kenya with a registered BUSINESS NAME name should be able to get a piece of I.P issued to that same entity within 21 days. In the age of Artificial Intelligence, 🇰🇪 can do this at scale.

This streamlined process would invigorate small businesses, foster creativity, and rapidly accelerate the commercialization of local innovations.

The success stories of nations that have prospered through empowering their entrepreneurs are evident worldwide. For instance, South Korea's swift I.P issuance system greatly contributed to their rise as a leader in technology and innovation.

Guys, Success is not New to the World, its just New to Us 🇰🇪.

This is not just about improving a process; it's about building the future of our country and continent. By supporting this petition, you give us the Mandate to seek ammendment to Article 34 of the current Intellectual Property Law. Your signature to this petition gives us Legitimacy to seek full implementation of our successful ammendment.

This is our opportunity to BEND THE SYSTEM TO OUR WILL.

It is the only cure to the old tale "Tunaomba serikali saidia" and the resulting "god complex" in most Kenyan Politicians.

Consider signing this petition if you believe in the power of innovation and entrepreneurship to transform our nation, and if you stand with the youth of Kenya as we strive towards a more prosperous future. Your signature can help bring about a vital change to empower our innovators and drive growth.

Join Us !!

God Bless  🇰🇪.
