However, there is a massive problem holding this game back from reaching its true potential: the lack of a modern, competitive multiplayer ecosystem.
Right now, the multiplayer lacks critical features that keep modern gaming communities alive. We, the community of active players and potential buyers, are signing this petition to request a major multiplayer overhaul, including:
A proper ranked matchmaking system with competitive ladders/divisions.
Better multiplayer unit balancing tailored for fair PvP competition.
Netcode optimizations to reduce match-making queue times and prevent crashes during multiplayer games.

Many tactical RTS fans love the game's mechanics but refuse to purchase it—or have stopped playing it—solely because the multiplayer feels outdated and neglected. A competitive, fully functional multiplayer environment would double the player base, bring in massive waves of new buyers, and open doors for community tournaments and esports.
