The explosive noises they create can be distressing to animals, who have far more acute senses than we do. A study by the RSPCA found that over 60% of dogs in the UK show signs of fear when they hear fireworks. It's time to prioritize the welfare of our beloved pets over short-lived entertainment. Already under the animal cruelty act, it is against the law to infect distress or injury. But the government allow explosive on our streets.
