Outlaw Sharia Law in the European Union

Sharia law, a religious legal system governing members of the Islamic faith, is incompatible with the secular laws and human rights standards upheld by the European Union.

The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that Sharia law is inconsistent with democratic principles (ECHR ruling 2003). 

The values of universal tolerance are inconsistent with the values of religious fundamentalism and theocratic laws.

Europeans do not mind migration. They mind the influx of intolerant ideologies that refuse to assimilate.

To protect European values and safeguard social cohesion, we urge EU policymakers to outlaw Sharia law in the European Union, as well as declare any calls for religious caliphates, in any shape or form, to be classified as an illegal act.
