If you’re as upset as we are that Gretchen Crowe and Gene and Dona Wheeler are not facing any charges for neglecting countless animals at Special Memories Zoo you’re welcome to share your opinion with the Outagamie Sheriff’s Department.

You can email the investigating officer Mike Fitzpatrick at mike.fitzpatrick@outagamie.org. Fitzpatrick has been in charge of investigating Special Memories Zoo since at least 2015, and the animal neglect was reported to him directly by a former zookeeper that year.

You can also email Fitzpatrick’s supervisor Ryan Carpenter at ryan.carpenter@outagamie.org and explain why you think a different veterinarian should be brought in to examine evidence in the case.

You can also email Sheriff Clint Kriewaldt at clint.kriewaldt@outagamie.org and don't forget to mention that it was determined the March 2020 fire was electrical in nature but started in the top barn that had no electricity. It doesn't take a fire expert to determine it's impossible for an electrical fire to start where there is no electricity.
