Hello everyone! Thank you again for signing and supporting this petition. I will be attending the Bourbonnais Village Board meeting today, Feb. 2, to officially present the petition and respectfully ask the board to direct staff to review and draft a proposed ordinance clarifying that village-owned property should not be used for civil immigration enforcement activity. I will also be providing a couple of sample ordinances from other Illinois communities for reference. If you’d like to attend in support, the meeting is at: 600 Main St. NW Bourbonnais, IL 60914 The meeting starts at 5:30 PM, and public comment begins early, so arriving a little ahead of time is helpful.
