Hello Everyone! I am Saphira Winchester, an 8th grade student at Johnson Middle School. I'd first like to say that shutting down Timmonsville isn't a great idea. Many people have grown up here at this school, and call it home. I personally have met so many great teachers and friends. It feels like a home to me, and losing the opportunity to stay with the people I love and care about will hurt. So many parents and even children are wondering how students will get from Timmonsville Schools to Florence Schools. Not every parent is able to get up and transport their child to school.. either because of not having a car, not being able to drive, not wanting to get up early, or because of work. I've only been to this school for a few months, and I enjoy it here.
