Feasibility study to go ahead.

Hi everyone, things have been moving slowly in the background and with the massive help of the PACT Regeneration Group we have reached the stage of issuing tenders for a feasibility study to be done using the £25k pledged by Eastfield Town Council. It might sound like a lot of money but without it we can't go ahead.

Whichever company wins the contract they will be instructed to carry out a comprehensive study which will include suitability of the chosen site, costings of the project and most importantly public consultation. 

We expect the study to be finished by the end of May when it will be used both in our business plan to North Yorkshire Council to support our request for the land to be transferred and also in our future funding bids to various organisations. 

Timescale will be tight as we need the land transferred before we can bid for the governments Community Ownership Fund which closes later this year.
