Feasibility study started!!!

Hi everyone,

Great news!!  The feasibility study is now underway, using the £25k grant from our local town council. We had a very good meeting with the consultants last week who are now in tune with our thinking behind the project and all of the work done so far.

We also managed to get some extra funding for the study which now means we can go for the full design service and although this will take a little longer it will cover all aspects needed and hopefully will be completed by the end of July.

The consultants will do all that is necessary under their instructions and as well as checking out the site and it's potential, there will be the necessary surveys along with public consultation and they will be using the support already gained by this petition and all of the other work we have done previously.

They will also be using our newly launched website at eastfieldresidents.org to communicate whatever is needed to the residents for their feedback on proposed plans.

It's been a long hard slog but it really feels as if this is happening now so once again thank you so much for your support.
