The termination of the MOU has been suspended and the District, administration, and CASA are now working to establish terms for a new MOU. In addition to a huge sigh of relief, we'd like to share gratitude and appreciation for all those who shared their heartwarming stories demonstrating CASA's value to Rooftop. It took an entire community of people and activities to make this happen, from fearless letter writers to the SaveCASA website, video testimonials, speeches, the petition (over 3000 signatures), advocacy calls, the wishing wall, children's art expressions, and more. It is possible that our continued advocacy on CASA's behalf may be needed during the negotiation process. Please stay tuned for more information.
