Wednesday, January 16, 2014 - Incident
--------------------------------------
Mr. Jordan Baker (26-year-old Houston Community College student and father) was shot and killed January 16, 2014 after Houston Police Department Officer Juventino Castro said he stopped Mr. Baker at a northside shopping center to question him.
According to Castro, Mr. Jordan Baker was riding his bike through the strip mall, and when he tried to stop him the two got into a scuffle.
Officer Castro said Mr. Baker ran from him, then struggled with him. Officer Castro said he fired once when he thought Mr. Jordan Baker was pulling something from his waistband. However, it turned out that Mr. Jordan Baker was not armed.

Tuesday, December 23, 2014 - Harris County Grand Jury (No Bill)

A Harris County Grand Jury in Houston decided on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 not to indict Houston Police Department officer Juventino Castro in the fatal shooting of a 26-year-old unarmed Mr. Jordan Baker on Wednesday, January 16, 2014.
This was the fourth decision favoring police in the United States in recent officer-involved killings, which have triggered nationwide protests over the use of excessive force by law enforcement.
