Our dogs at the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Animal Shelter cannot speak for themselves — so we have to speak for them.

 

Right now, animals are:

 

Getting sick with parasites, kennel cough, and pneumonia inside a taxpayer-funded facility

 

Hidden behind locked doors, where the public is threatened with arrest for simply trying to see the animals they are paying to care for

 

Living in conditions so poor that volunteers and employees are afraid to come forward

 

Being left without the treatment, transparency, and basic humane care they deserve

 

 

I started this petition because enough is enough. The community deserves honesty. The animals deserve safety. And Brevard County deserves a shelter that reflects its values — not one shrouded in secrecy and fear.
