Plaistow Lane in Bromley is a very busy road used by children, parents, school staff, residents and other pedestrians every day.

With a school located directly on Plaistow Lane, crossing the road can be particularly difficult and concerning at busy times, especially during school drop-off and pick-up.

We are asking Bromley Council to investigate the need for a controlled pedestrian crossing, traffic lights or other appropriate traffic-management measures on Plaistow Lane to make crossing the road safer.

We believe the council should assess traffic speeds, pedestrian numbers, school travel patterns and any existing collision data before deciding on the most appropriate solution.

Please sign this petition to ask Bromley Council to investigate and take action to improve pedestrian safety on Plaistow Lane.
