I had a really good meeting with Councillor McKenney on Friday to discuss the Bee City Ottawa project. She was very supportive and she will be speaking to staff and other Councillors. We plan to meet again later in the month, after I meet with reps from other Bee Cities in Ontario at the Pollinator Summit. 

We also had great support at the Back to School event. There were a lot of people flowing past the pollinator display. We've started a hard copy petition too so we can capture even more signatures at community events in the neighbourhood. Councillor McKenney even dropped by for a visit and posted our picture on twitter.
