We've crossed the 500 signatures threshold after four days. I have a meeting scheduled with my city Councillor next Friday morning.

More signatures by this time next week will go a long way towards convincing her that there is significant momentum behind Bee City Ottawa. I am reaching out to other councillors and candidates, as well.

I will also be attending a Pollinator Summit in late Sept. I will be connecting with representatives from Bee Cities across Ontario and a few from wanna-bee cities, like Ottawa. This is a fantastic opportunity for me to capture critical information about how other cities dealt with the municipal government side of the application process. I will be digging into their communications and change management strategies. 

Thanks so much to everyone who has already supported this important project. Please circulate far and wide if you haven't already. I have finally figured out what I wanna-bee when I grow up. Please help me to make this a reality for Ottawa.
