I know many of you advocated for Dr. Bryant following her resignation, and over the past few months the university and Dr. Bryant have held productive discussions to hear and understand each other's perspectives. Following those discussions, we concluded that re-hiring Dr. Bryant was a satisfactory outcome for all, and look forward to welcoming her back to Ohio State Newark this fall. Dr. Bryant will begin as a visiting associate professor in mid-August, but we will be immediately commencing a review process for a tenure-track position at the rank of associate professor in accordance with the normal procedures for hiring tenure-track faculty at that rank.
