Begin Residential Recycling Collection in Poinciana

I have lived in Florida my whole life and moved to the Poinciana community of Kissimmee nearly 10 years ago with my family. Poinciana was roughly new then and was expected to be one of the largest communities in the city - let's just say that the expectations weren't far off.

Poinciana continues to grow every day as a very diverse community, however Osceola county has only recently started bringing residential recycling pick-up services to Kissimmee. Based on the number of people in the Poinciana community - now well over 55,000 - it is detrimental to out environment that we expand these recycling programs to our area.

People just aren't motivated enough to take their recycleable materials to drop-off stations and what better way to fix that - and to fix our environment - than to bring the recycling to them? Of course it can be costly, but the amount earned will be even greater. Help support this effort in order to decrease landfill waste and make Poinciana a better and brighter place!
