Received withdraw notice. However, NOT OVER  the original applicants are investors. They will be back. There is a way to Protect Osceola Rural Enclaves from future attempts by investors to develop.

I submitted the following:

“Very Important TONIGHT 7/15/2024 to PUT A HOLD on ANY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENTS / REZONING ATTEMPTS (LDR) at this time on ALL / ANY RURAL ENCLAVES. 

VOTE NO as a Low Density Residential (LDR) would set a PRECEDENCE and OPEN the DOOR for INVESTORS on all Rural Enclaves in Osceola. NO LDR, VOTE NO. 

IMPLORE you to implement 2018 Protection Policy that BOCC requested over Osceola Rural Enclaves from future applications Rezoning. This was never completed or followed through by Planning Department. Time to put into action. 

Please, asking for your help today to preserve Osceola Historic Rural Enclaves and make a motion on 2018 Rural Enclave Policy Protections.”
