On February 18th, 2020, 22-year old Kevin Aldophe was shot and killed by Orlando Police. From the family's understanding, Kevin was driving a vehicle that was later reported stolen. When the officers gave pursuit, Kevin parked the vehicle and ran towards his home. Eyewitnesses stated that the officers continued to pursue Kevin on foot, then shot him multiple times in the back, two shots were fired while he was on the ground, face down. The autopsy report confirmed that all the shots fired were to his back. It has been over four months since his tragic death and Orlando Police Department still refuses to release the Bodycam footage or any information regarding the shooting. His family just want to know exactly what happened that day. They deserve to know what caused the officers to shoot Kevin multiple times in the back. Please help us get OPD to release the bodycam footage so the Aldophe family can find some kind of peace and justice. Kevin's older brother, Jeff Aldophe, was killed just two months prior to Kevin's death. Losing two sons in such a short period of time can cause any person to lose hope but we cannot allow that to happen to the Aldophe family. Let's help the Aldophe family get the answers they need and deserve.
