We are small business owners in Downtown Leavenworth, Kansas, and we are passionate about improving our community. Our vision is to host a family-friendly German-style Christmas market on Delaware Street. This event would not only bring joy and holiday spirit to our community but also support local businesses that have been struggling in the current economic downturn.

Imagine if even just 10% of those residents attended this market - that's potentially 3,600 customers for local businesses! Moreover, according to the National Retail Federation (NRF), consumers spent an average of $1,007 during the holiday season in 2018. A fraction of this spending redirected towards our local businesses could significantly boost our economy.

Furthermore, such markets are known for their positive impact on communities worldwide. They foster a sense of unity and camaraderie among residents while promoting local culture and traditions.
