When I was a young Beaver fan attending OSU women's basketball and volleyball events there was a lovely young Beaver mascot named Bernice.  Many of you may not know she existed, many of you may remember her.  I miss Bernice, I felt like she was a great female mascot to look up to when I was young.  As a young girl I enjoyed seeing Bernice on the sidelines with the cheerleaders at football games, or cheering on the women's events in Gill Coliseum.  As I have gotten older I reminisce about Bernice and wonder, why can't we bring Bernice back?  I think it would be great for our young girls to have a mascot to enjoy at women's events or even football games.  I for one truly enjoyed seeing Bernice at OSU events and to this day I still miss seeing her.  Please help me convince Oregon State University Athletics to bring Bernice back to OSU!!
