Ordinary People Petition for Action Against Extraordinary Abuse of Power
The Issue
I am an ordinary person with an ordinary job. I pay my taxes, abide by the laws in my country, and respect the rights of others. Yet there is a double standard when it comes to international law.
International law exists to protect us all—yet world leaders apply it selectively, condemning some violations while ignoring others.
Recent violations of international law documented by UN and international courts:
- Venezuela: Unauthorized military intervention and capture of head of state
- Greenland: Threats to seize territory from NATO ally Denmark by military force
- Gaza: ICJ ruled Israel responsible for apartheid and violations of international law
- Sudan: UN documented deliberate targeting of civilians
- Ukraine: Ongoing violations of sovereignty and territorial integrity
We demand:
- Apply international law equally to all nations, regardless of alliances
- End arms sales to countries violating international law
- Impose real consequences - sanctions, ICC cooperation, suspension from international bodies
- Protect civilians - enforce ceasefires and humanitarian access in ALL conflicts
Selective justice isn't justice. When powerful nations act with impunity, everyone's security is threatened. Silence makes us complicit.
No nation is above international law—including those who refuse to be bound by it.
We call on the UN Security Council, EU Leaders, NATO Members, and all democratic governments to uphold international law equally—not just when it's politically convenient.
Sign to demand accountability for all violations of international law.
