Thanks to all your support, I need much more of you to be a part of the journey until we get victory!! 

During this lockdown, I reached online to 61 women survivors of violence in marital discord.  As the courts have not been functioning since 22 March 2020, due to COVID, these women's lives are miserable. These women are not getting any support financially from their husbands even though the court issued orders for maintenance. 

I sent letters through mail to the Director General of Police Andhra Pradesh, Telangana states and Commissioner of Police Pune city in India. 

Me and survivors are planning to have media interface and news coverage to bring visibility for the issue of amendment to Maintenance law and strict implementation by police.

Secondly, sending mails to all Member of Parliaments in India as the INdian Parliament is going to meet in September 2020. Will meet and discuss with a few Parliamentarians, ask them to support us and raise questions in Parliament.

Each one sends mail to ten persons to support. That increases our power of collective voice.
