Its been 6 years on Valentine's Day 2021, when Erica left to go on an impromptu Valentine's date. She disappeared the morning of February 15, 2015 and was never seen again. A couple months later, her body was discovered off Ortega Highway where she was allegedly "placed." Her car was found days later in Laguna Hills approximately 45 miles away from where she was allegedly placed. Erica Alonso's mother said On Justice for Erica Alonso Facebook page, "She was last seen with her ex boyfriend and a couple. They have stopped investigating."

A new law passed Jan 2018 called "Erica's Law" ( Ashley E. Ludwig) says; “Erica's Law allows for charges to be filed for the concealment of an accidental death up to one year after a suspect is identified by law enforcement, but extends the statute of limitations to four years after the dumping of the body."  

That brings some Justice, for Erica and family, I'm sure, and for the future families, but doesn't bring the suspect(s) in this case any closer to being captured and charged.

Autopsy reports came back with a lethal dose of GHB and alcohol found in her system. There have been interviews On Orange County Register, with her father saying " ‘It doesn’t make sense to me’: Father of Erica Alonso surprised to hear daughter’s death ruled an overdose " The investigation took a turn to where they stopped and were saying, "She died of an overdose, no foul play was involved." We all beg to differ, because she was allegedly placed approximately 45 miles away from her car and home in Laguna Hills.

Erica and her family can live in Peace
