May 19, 2015 — David Lazarus is an award-winning business columnist for the Los Angeles Times, focusing on consumer affairs. He contacted Oracle spokeswoman to inquire about the practice of bundling Ask Toolbar with Java. She said she'd put him in touch with the appropriate person. A minute later, she emailed back to say that Oracle would have no comment.

It appears that Oracle is hoping that the attention will go away if they stay silent on this matter.
