Optus has recently introduced a new $50 fee if you would like to change your rate plan to the most current one. This was never used to be the case. Optus has also offered new customers an extra 2 gigabytes of data on its $80 plan and 4 gigabytes of data on its $100 plan while existing customers are left with the standard data caps. Previously, customer used to be able to call up, change their old rates to the new rate plan and only have to pay the pro rated fee instead of a $50 fee. This is unfair to the existing customers who are paying the same amount of money, and often extra if they go over their data limits. An Optus representative argued that the charge is fair and existing customers would breach their contract unless they were changing to a more expensive plan. 

This is unfair and we, the customers would like Optus to reverse this attempt to try to gain more money from it's existing customers.
