Area E Director Voted to NOT opt-in
You probably know that our Area E Director Adrienne Fedrigo did not vote to opt-in to the new BC Short Term Rental legislation. We are very disappointed with this decision. Over 455 confirmed local residents signed a petition asking her to opt in and that number is still growing. As our Area E Regional District Director, we expect her to represent the voters of this region.
If you live in Area E (Naramata) and are disappointed, please inform Director Fedrigo immediately by forwarding the email below to Adrienne and copying the following people. Please make sure to include your name and address.

Also on March 21st, Adrienne posted a letter in MyNaramata explaining her decision. You can also reply to Adrienne’s post in the comments section voicing your displeasure. You need to say nothing more than ‘I am disappointed’ if you don’t want to say more.
Director Fedrigo;
I want to register my extreme disappointment in your decision to not opt-in on the new BC Government Short Term Rental legislation. This decision is counter to your stated campaign platform and the concerns you expressed about vacation rentals in our Area. Your decision does not represent the wishes of your constituents.
