Allow the LNP a conscious vote in all marriage equality matters

The issue

The recent marriage equality bills that failed to pass parliament have not been given a fair chance. Tony Abbot refuses to allow his party a conscience vote, forcing them to vote nay or face losing their job. As such, the decision reached in parliament has not been fair or representative of the members of parliament who voted, or the people of Australia whom those members were elected to represent.

Tony Abbott, please allow your party the choice to vote however they wish in future matters regarding marriage equality without consequence to themselves or their career, giving them the opportunity to properly represent the Australian people.
