The proposed zoning change near 4900 Columbus Road — spanning 18-acres — would bring drastic changes to our community. The proposed plan is to build a 270 unit apartment complex. This will cause shifts in our traffic patterns, and place unnecessary stress on utilities, ruining the lifestyle and contentment we have strived for years to build. It was recently recommended by the Plan Commission and now awaits a decision from the Quincy City Council.
