The Madison County Circuit Court Judge has not ruled in our favor. But we aren’t done.

We have decided to appeal the court's decision because of our conviction that development should be deliberate. This will result in substantial additional attorney fees. If you also want to see deliberate development in our community, please contribute to our legal fund to support this effort.

Our efforts are pushing progress, but we remain concerned about the planned apartment buildings, increasing the congestion even more on our already stressed infrastructure and causing irreparable environmental damage.

One of the reasons we started this fight was because the current infrastructure and services do not support the rate of development planned. In the amount of time we have petitioned this development process, Madison County now has a manned (not volunteer) fire station planned for construction off I-75 exit 97. According to Judge Taylor at a recent Town Hall Meeting, it is estimated to be completed by Fall of 2026. This is real progress that YOU as a donor have helped make possible.
