The undersigned residents OPPOSE the rezoning request ZA 24-10 with proposed road frontage on Frank Bruce Rd and Hwy 53.  The 785 home project would have massive and significant impacts on traffic flow, EMS services, water, sewer, and trash.  Current roads and intersections display significant traffic concerns during portions of the day.  The influx of 785 homes would require the construction of multiple lane roads and traffic lights in several locations that are currently stressed or would provide outlets for this project.  

The current property is appropriately zoned RA for a minimum of 5 acre lots.  Collectively we neighbors have invested millions in our RA homesteads. We have moved away from the suburbs and subdivisions for a quieter and more peaceful way of life.  The current proposed project would forever destroy the tranquility of our neighborhood with years of construction, dirt, noise, and traffic. This huge project would forever transform the country feel of Dawson County into the rapid development machine we have seen consume North Fulton and Forsyth counties.  Please oppose this rezoning request by signing this petition and contacting our planning commissioners.
