The Ratepayers of White River demand answers from the Municipal Manager and the Mayor of Mbombela regarding the state of municipal water supply in White River. 

We pay our rates and taxes, and are charged for potable water.

The complaints are an ongoing situation.  Complaints are logged on  customercare@mbombela.gov.za regarding Dirty water.  Foul smelling water, water containing larvae  or simply no water for periods on end. 

Our water infrastructure was inspected by Endecon, and we demand this report to be published publicly.

We demand that COM publish their comprehensive plan to replace our failing Asbestos supply pipelines.

The BLUE DROP report rates our water (at 27 %) as potentially unsafe and harmful. National government demanded a turnaround plan from CoM, we demand this plan to be published publicly.

This petition ends on 4 February 2025 (15:30) and the official results will be handed from the WRRA via the Ward Committee too Ward 30 Councillor Rowan Torr, to hand over the results officially too City of Mbombela.
