Oppose Vets fees in the UK

The Issue

We are a nation of animal lovers but vets fees in the UK are astronomical!

Not only are they ridiculously expensive, there is no transparency in their fees.

Yes they do a fantastic job of  looking after our beloved pets but at what cost?

There is no ‘NHS’ for pets and unless you are receiving certain benefits, there is no help towards fees.

Yes, you can have pet insurance but even that comes with it’s own clauses.

I am petitioning for vets to lower their fees and to also be open and transparent.

Publish price lists so that we don’t feel embarrassed when it comes to paying - or at the very least display a minimum and maximum cost for treatment.

More often than not, the fees aren’t discussed in the treatment room and it’s not until we go to pay that we are met with a shocking bill.

Dentists, doctors and private health clinics all have price lists but vets don’t.

This MUST change!

Please sign this petition and forward it to all your friends and family so that we can have it read in Parliament

Thank you
