Democracy and human rights in the UK are being systematically dismantled by the UK Tory government, fundamentally shifting our constitution toward unaccountable authoritarianism. 

Centuries of human rights and democratic achievements in the UK are being stripped away. 

We have identified over 20 ways in which UK laws that support human rights and democracy have been, and continue to be, changed into repressive measures. 

We call upon:

1. The Tory Government to respect and support human rights and our democracy.
2. The Welsh Government and local councils to take up this constitutional challenge, by initiating all possible steps to continue to protect human rights and democracy on behalf of the people of Wales, up to and including preventing the implementation of these laws, and further, to demand that justice and policing is devolved to Wales. 
3. All political parties in Wales to make public their total opposition to these attacks on human rights and democracy. 
4. Trade unions and other organisations to make their opposition known.
5. All these organisations to come together as an all Wales coalition to campaign and take action to defend our human rights, our democracy and to fight for social justice.
