Despite the BOE's unanimous decision to bring armed guards to South Huntington schools on 1/25/23, let's continue to organize and oppose this! This is not over by any means. Before approving this, the BOE stated that they  estimate that 70% of the community supports this. I believe that in reality, a vocal minority supports this. Thank you to the amazing speakers who spoke in opposition at yesterday's meeting. Let's show them that the majority opposes this by continuing to speak out and push back. Let's fight for the equitable, school community we truly want for our children, guided by love over fear. Please continue to share this petition widely!
