The developer is Simpatico Communities, who recently purchased the property for an unspecified amount. They shared that they are also in the beginning stages to develop another area out here. They did share that they are from Georgia, developing areas in both Pima and Maricopa Counties.

It was also shared that these apartments would be market competitive - meaning the same cost as the others that just went in. 

The ingress/egress is planned to be along the wash, not along the student parking lot driveway. This really is neither safe nor feasible, as that road would  be a tight squeeze next to the existing residence border and the wash berm.

Renters would not pay any taxes to help fund our schools, which are already overtaxed.

No solid response regarding flooding issues other than engineers are planning dry wells.

There was no response to how the apartment community foot traffic could be contained to eliminate any negative impact on the surrounding neighborhood and residence.
