Hey all you fabulous family and friends. I'm nudging this petition again. As an advocate of the "Others, Et Als and to carry on this historical legend. Our Aunt Beverly Guzman Gallegos, and Mr. Mike Ramirez have done as a team interviews, public speaking, promoting, educating communities of what their parents did as part of this famous case, we are proud and we just want the whole story, all stories known. We can't sit back and watch, we have voices, we have rights. A Bill initiated by Jimmy Gomez to renamed the LA Courthouse where this case was held. Ide like to see the names honoring ALL the plaintiffs on a building someday. It sure would bring a true meaning to the slogan or book "Separate is Never EQUAL, Yet the Guzmans, Ramirezs, Estradas, Palominos, have slipped into oblivion.Where is the comradery, unity, equality?
This was a class action suit, yes its titled Mendez Et Al. Westminster Et al. 77 years have passed and every article, story, teaching 98% of the time the plaintiffs are referred to as "4 other families who by the way equally attended court, testified, probably even carpooled from Orange County as friends. Let's have all involved just as proud as the next, as we look on we count numerous schools learning centers and monuments named after the one family, this is history people together they fought together they prospered, and together they eventually won. Please sign and share this petition. With honor and respect to our forefathers.
Thank you kindly.
