This proposed trailer park is named Edger Street Trailer Park with an entrance driveway on Avon Drive.  On their site proposal this includes 89 single wide trailers(mobile homes) This includes Edger Street, Iron Ore Rd, and Avon Drive in the Whitney Mills, Mayfair Estates and Poplar Creek Farms residential neighbohoods.

As a property owner living in this neighborhood for many years, I am deeply concerned about the proposed development of a trailer park that is on the table.  This is not just a business issue; it challenges the very fabric of our peaceful community.

Increased traffic and noise pollution are only a few of the problems that may arise due to this installation. Moreover, such a development is likely to significantly affect property values. According to a study by the National Bureau of Economic Research, low-income housing projects can reduce the prices of nearby homes by approximately 10% - 25% . Our communities, which we have put so much love and effort, time and money into deserve to be preserved. 

The objections mentioned herein are not an indictment of those who reside in trailer parks. Instead, it's an appeal grounded in the necessity to protect the integrity of our community, the peace of our streets, and the value of our homes. Therefore, I urge my neighbours and all those concerned to join me in opposing the proposed trailer park construction in our neighborhood.
