The Issue

As a resident who lives near the proposed "Meadows at Glenwood" development, this deeply personal issue affects not only me but the entire community. The new development by Birmingham LD, LLC (Rausch Coleman Homes), currently under consideration in the Basehor Planning and Zoning Application PPDP-001-25 and PRZ-001-25, is cause for serious concern.

Please plan to show up in person to the City of Basehor Planning and Zoning Meeting where this issue will be on the Agenda.

May 13th 6pm

Basehor City Hall (New)

This development threatens to overwhelm our local schools and exacerbate traffic safety concerns around our cherished Glenwood Ridge Elementary. Increased traffic and population could put a strain on our emergency response departments, which are already stretched thin, and cause undue wear and tear on our infrastructure. The proposed development presents environmental harm risks and could lead to flooding issues for neighboring properties.

Preserving community safety, protecting our children's education, and maintaining community infrastructure should be a priority before any such extensive development. We must also ensure that our actions do not cause harm to the natural environment, which could potentially have long-lasting and devastating effects. Let's raise our voices together and let relevant decision-makers know that we oppose the proposed "Meadows at Glenwood" Development. Please sign this petition.
