We, the undersigned members of the community, are writing to express our strong opposition to the proposed development of an extended stay motel near McNeil, Valley Creek, and McGowan Elementary Schools. As concerned parents, residents, and community members, we believe that this project poses significant risks to the safety and well-being of our children.

Over the years, our neighborhood has experienced developments that have not aligned with our community's vision for a safe and family-friendly environment. Promises made during the construction of the McKinney ISD stadium have not been fulfilled, as we have seen a rise in facilities that do not contribute positively to our community's character. The addition of an extended stay motel is particularly alarming and raises serious concerns about our children's safety.

Our primary concern is the safety of our children. The potential for increased criminal activity and the presence of individuals who might not be properly registered in the community poses a serious threat to their well-being. We believe it is our duty to advocate for a safe environment for our children and to ensure that developments in our area reflect the values and priorities of our community.
