Oppose the Granite Bay Congregate Living
The Issue
There is a proposal for a health facility, housing 18 patients, at 3140 Spahn Ranch Road in Granite Bay, CA. This facility will affect residents on Spahn Ranch Road, as well as those in the Creekside Housing on Brightside Lane, Crystal Pond Court and Spahn Ranch Rd. in Roseville, CA. Traffic will undoubtably increase, due to the 6 nurses during the day, 3 at night, any emergency vehicles, medical transporters, equipment deliveries, cooks, medical assistances, therapists, visitors, etc.
Quite often, dog owners, walkers, kids playing, and baby strollers can be seen in this neighborhood, for good reasons. They need not worry about heavy traffic and quickly moving vehicles. With an increase in traffic and fast moving vehicles, residents are worried our quite streets will no longer be a safe haven for pedestrians. Additionally, we believe this will also affect the property values in our area, as well as the often-spotted wildlife.
Eighteen residents? This doesn’t sound like something that belongs in a small neighborhood. Is it getting rezoned for a business?
The meeting for the proposal is February 27 and we need to have our voices heard before that! Please sign below to oppose this health facility/PLN24-00224
