As members of the fragile community of Joshua Tree, we are experiencing the devastating effects of rampant speculative development and clandestine deals.

The place we call home, renowned for its serene environment and unique biodiversity, is in danger due to the destructive development of Lovemore Ranch. This poorly planned and detrimental construction threatens our local ecology, including the iconic Joshua Trees, which are a crucial part of our identity and vital to the desert ecosystem. The wildlife species that depend on this habitat are losing their homes, and our community as we know it is slowly disintegrating. This wanton disregard for our environment has to stop. The survival of our community, our culture, and our biodiversity depend on it.

Our local government should be protecting us and ensuring the sustainable growth of our community. Instead, their unethical dealings are causing irreversible damage. They are accountable to us, their constituents. Let us make our voices heard. Demand the immediate accountability of Lovemore Ranch's destructive development now.

Our Demands are as follows: 

1/2 acre lots (minimum size)

Each house on it's own septic, not a sewer treatment system

Proper stormwater retention

All joshua trees stay or are relocated by a professional

Commitment to meet with the water district

Non resort public commitment

Complete and Comprehensive Traffic study
