The NC State Fair has had the buildings housing the church and charities food vendors for generations. What they call afectionally 'restaurant row'. Some have been there for 80-90 years. Now they are going to demolish the buildings.

They are destroying the buildings and replacing them with something that the charities cannot use during the state fair. It's a tragedy that such a tradition will die after this year. Even those who use the buildings for the Raleigh market may be out a place to sell there wares.

We need them to update the building but keep the function of it so the tradition continues for generations to come. It breaks my heart that they will lose one of their main fundraisers for the year and the younger generation will miss out on knowing this unique fair experience. 

Please sign this petition. It will be sent to Steve Troxler, NC Ag commissioner and the head of the NC State Fair. Let's remind Troxler it's an election year. I hope we can get him to convince those running the NC State Fair that those charity vendors mean a great deal to all of us
