Oppose the Construction of the ATCO Yellowhead Mainline Pipeline

The Issue

We are deeply concerned about the proposed northern route for the ATCO Yellowhead Mainline, a high-pressure natural gas line planned to traverse approximately 200 kilometers from Peers to Fort Sask. Much of this route threatens to desecrate untouched and pristine wilderness. This area, teeming with wolves, cougars, moose, elk, snowy owls, wildflowers, and so much more, must be preserved. There are few places left where nature is allowed to flourish undisturbed, and this is one of them. The construction and operation of this pipeline will undoubtedly introduce noise, pollution, and degradation, drastically impacting these vibrant ecosystems. Beyond the environmental impact, pipelines present the risk of catastrophic gas leaks, jeopardizing both human and wildlife. I urge you to consider the immeasurable value of our natural heritage, the well-being of the unique wildlife, and potential health and safety risks to surrounding areas. Say NO to the Yellowhead Mainline Pipeline passing through untouched wilderness. Register your opposition now. Sign this petition today.
