This petition opposes the proposed Route A for the SVP NRS-KRS 115kV Overhead Power Transmission Line, which affects over 1,000 families and small businesses in several neighborhoods.

While we understand the need for increased power lines, we believe there are other alternate routes that will enable SVP to meet the power needs without impacting human lives.

1.    Health Risks from EMF Radiation:- Proximity to high-voltage lines poses potential cancer risks and other health issues.

2.    Decreased Property Values:- Overhead lines can reduce home values, harming financial stability.

3.    Decline in Business Revenues:- Local businesses may suffer from reduced foot traffic and appeal.

We advocate for alternative routes, such as Route C or D, that avoid residential areas and request comprehensive health studies on EMF exposure.
