The agricultural land surrounding the elks home is one of few agricultural plots left in the town of Bedford. The loss of the agricultural land would be devastating to the community. The development proposes 24 duplex homes, 21 single-family homes, 37 two-story townhomes, 61 one level townhomes, and 210 apartments. If this proposal goes through the once quiet town of Bedford and community around Bedford Primary School would become crowded and chaotic. This high density proposal would lead to problems with noise, traffic, and loss of agriculture land. As well as the increase in trash, sewer, and water output.
