DONATIONS ARE NOT NEEDED -- PLEASE JUST SPREAD THE WORD!

ScribeAmerica is enforcing a uniform change to multiple sites at the last minute. We were informed via email on June 28th, 2024 that we would be required to buy our own new uniforms (navy blue polo and khaki slacks) by July 1st, 2024. ScribeAmerica has made no mentions of uniform reimbursement for this last minute change and have also had notable reluctancies towards reimbursements offered previously. This uniform change was not publicly discussed or mentioned to any scribe associates prior to the announcement. 

We are opposing this uniform change for multiple reasons. Given, we feel that since we have not been given an answer to our question behind the reasoning for this change and we do not feel comfortable with being assigned uniforms that would make us look unwelcome in a medical setting, we are collectively agreeing to oppose this unnecessary and unwelcome change. 

We would like to formally express our decision to retain our current uniforms. Our current uniforms are a significant part of our identity, and we take great pride in them. They represent our values and the unity of our team. Let Scribes Wear Scrubs!
