Oppose SB92 Bill: Don't Force Vehicle Front License Plates in Florida

Oppose SB92 Bill: Don't Force Vehicle Front License Plates in Florida
The Issue
Like many other Floridians, I am deeply concerned about the SB92 Bill which compels drivers to have front license plates on their vehicles. For years, Florida and numerous other states have exhibited an efficient and safe practice of using only one license plate. This sudden legislative change not only threatens to damage our vehicles but also places an unnecessary financial burden on the citizens. The implementation of this law, seemingly designed to create an additional revenue source, will inevitably cost citizens more money for a privilege they have always enjoyed.
As a constituent, I urge you to think about the negative impacts this bill could have on Floridians. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that front license plates are not statistically significant in reducing crime or improving road safety. In fact, the extra financial burden might push some people not to register their vehicles, leading to more unregistered, and potentially unsafe, vehicles on the road. Nobody wants to wake up one day and be forced to drill into their bumper that costs thousands of dollars.
I am not just signing this petition, but also finding the senator for my district using this link from the Florida Senate. I am making my voice heard because I firmly believe that together, we can protect Florida from unnecessary and potentially damaging legislation. If you, like me, are opposed to SB92 bill and believe this proposal to be unjust, I urge you to share your thoughts with your district senator, through email or phone, this is the most effective way to stop this bill. Together, let's keep Florida free! 🇺🇸
