Wherever states have implemented their own laws, injustice, racial profiling, and family separations have increased. Immigrants have some of the lowest crime rates in the nation and they contribute greatly to businesses, churches, and their communities. Anti-immigrant laws have had devastating economic impacts in all of the states that have passed them.

We ask that states oppose all anti-immigrant, anti-human laws. We, the undersigned believe that our economy does not need any devastation that would occur if such a law is passed. Above all, we demand that the dignity and humanity of those who may be adversely affected by this law is respected.
